Create and Connect

Feeling crafty and keen to meet new people? Create and Connect is our welcoming craft and sewing group at Notting Hill Neighbourhood House, open to people of all ages and skill levels.

Sessions run every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, with a cost of $10 per class.

Whether you would like to learn a new skill, return to a much-loved hobby, or find motivation to finish an ongoing project, this group offers a supportive and creative space to do just that. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine and materials. Alternatively, our sewing machines and craft supplies are available to use for an additional $5 per session.

Classes are guided by Joanne, who brings patience, warmth, and a wealth of sewing knowledge to every session. Through thoughtful instruction and encouragement, she supports participants to build their skills and create beautiful handmade items.
